The actions sequence for admission to a British university
Step 1. Choose a specialization
If you know exactly what profession you will study - excellent!

Have a look on the universities programs in the UK on our website to select the programs of interest.

Not sure which specialization to choose - see the subjects taught at British Universities list on the official websites of the universities to find out what job opportunities and internships are available after the course is completed.

Or simply contact us for an advice and our consultants will tell you at the first free consultation.
Step 2. Choose suitable universities
If you have already decided which university you want to go to, super!

If you need advice or help in choosing, we are glad to tell you which options are better to stop on.

And yes! There can be many options (or rather - 6).
Step 3. The application form to the University
Often an admission requirements complete list and a motivation letter exact questions and referrals can only be found in the online university application system.

Therefore, you need to register in the system for sending applications to the university to get acquainted with the exact entry requirements before you start working on the preparation of the supporting documents.

The applications and documents for all universities in the UK are sent online or by email.

If you are applying for the first higher education, you need to register in the online system UCAS, through which applications for admission to undergraduate programs in all British universities are submitted. The system allows to send the same application to 5 universities.

Those who enter the postgraduate programs will apply on the selected university website, for which it will be necessary to register on all universities websites in which the applicant enters.

Step 4. Prepare the documents for the admission application
For programs with low competition from the applicant will require minimum effort to prepare the application. And if you have chosen a top university - get ready to work on the application seriously.

Regardless of the competition, most universities in Great Britain will require a motivation letter, recommendation and a document on previous education.

The following documents are required for admission to universities in the UK:

✔ The motivation letter
An essay in which the applicant tells what profession and why he chooses and how the program he/she goes to, will help him /her in this choice.

Motivation letter also known as Personal Statement or SOP (Statement of Purpose) is crucial document for admission to most universities in the UK.

Our team will also provide you with materials for preparing the motivation letter yourself.

This will help you make an essay plan, followed by our tips and successful motivation letters examples.

✔ A recommendation letter
A recommendation or characteristic to a student given by his teacher or employer is a mandatory document for admission to some undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Often requesting this document from a recommender at home, a student may receive a counter-request “write something and I will sign it”.

That is why we have prepared some examples of letters of reference for you, which will help both the recommended and the referees.

✔ Curriculum Vitae
When entering a foreign university for master's and some bachelor's programs, a resume or CV will be required.

CV is an opportunity to talk about the merits and the applicant’s achievements, not shown in the education qualifications. Try to fit your CV on one A4 page and write about what you have achieved, not just what you did.

✔ The document confirming previous education
The main document based on which the University decides to enrol an applicant is a document confirming the previous education.

Most often, an applicant submits an application to a British university, not yet having a final diploma for last education.

If the certificate of complete secondary education is not received or the bachelor's diploma is not received, the applicant should send to the university provisional grades document and its translation.
Step 5. Proof your English
If your previous education was not in English, you will need to pass a test that confirms your English proficiency.

Good news! Many of our partner universities have a free internal English test, which is also easier than traditional exams like IELTS.

Also, our partners' English internal tests can be taken without leaving your home on Skype!

We will send you preparatory materials and the exam structure so that you know what to expect!
Step 6. Prepare a portfolio, pass other tests
For admission to some specialities, you will need to prepare a portfolio or pass additional tests.

The good news is that there are not many such specialities: you need a creative portfolio for design and architecture related courses, a GMAT test for business and finance at top universities, BMAT for medicine.
Step 7. Pay the application review fee
Some universities charge fees from £20 to £50.

The payment is made after the applicant completes all fields of an online application all fields for admission.

UCAS also has a fee, but if you apply through us, for you this fee is already included in any package that you would decide to choose!
Step 8. Send an application and wait for the University to respond
If you have prepared the application yourself, postpone submitting it for 1-2 days (of course if deadlines allow so) to carefully check everything again.

Or contact us to make your life easier and reduce bureaucratic processes - we will make the application for you!

And be patient. Some universities will give you an answer within a week, while others may make you wait for a decision for more than two months.

If you need a solution faster, write a request to the British universities' representatives from their pages, do not forget to indicate your student number.
